Description
A combination stone, specially shaped to fit conveniently in the palm of a hand for the circular motion needed to sharpen and hone axes, hatchets, splitting mauls and machetes.The tool edge will need a good sharpening to realize its full potential. The stone measures 3" x 5/8" (75 x 16 mm). Use the dark gray, coarse side to start a new edge or remove nicks and chips. Use the medium gray, fine side. Oil acts as an effective lubricant during sharpening to float away metal and abrasive dust that would otherwise clog up the stone and ultimately render it useless.
