Doktor Doom Total Release Fogger, 5.5 Oz

Doktor Doom Total Release Fogger is for use in greenhouses, fruit and vegetable storage areas, and indoor gardening areas. Used for controlling fungus gnats, spider mites, two-spotted spider mites, aphids, whiteflies, scale, mealy bugs, and thrips. No residuals.

The biggest benefit to using Doktor Doom Total Release Insect Fogger is that it’s made with natural pyrethrum which biologically breaks down in a couple of hours. Provides very fast re-entry times to fumigated areas and NO long-lasting obnoxious odors lingering in the air. Safe to use around growing plants. Does NOT contain CFC’s or other ozone depleting substances.

Grower’s Tip:

• Best used 2-3 hours after HID lights are off or 2-3 hours after sunset — the greenhouse or indoor grow area cools down and bugs come out!

Application Tips:

• Use up to 1 day before Harvest on Vegetables, Flowers and Ornamental Plants

• Always Fog in the Dark-do not use in direct sunlight or with HID Lights on
• Best used 2-3 hours after the lights are off or 2-3 hours after sunset
• Always do an under leaf treatment with Doktor Doom Spider Mite Knockout prior to Fogging

Preparations Before Fogging:

• Shut off pilot lights and open flames in the area to be fogged; this includes Furnaces, Hot Water Tanks, CO2 Burners etc
• Turn off Exhaust Fans, Air Conditioners and Circulation Fans
• Turn off any automated appliances that cycle ON and OFF. This includes Timers, CO2 Controllers etc
• Close all windows and doors in the growing area
• Water your Plants before application

Fogging:

• Lighting Shades need to be raised to maximum height or removed in the growing area
• Prop the Foggers up on a 5 Gallon pail
• Do not allow the mist to come in direct contact with Plants - it is designed to go up in the air and fall on the Plants
• Depress the valve into locked position, exit the area immediately and close the door behind you
• Open all doors and windows, turn on exhaust fans, circulation fans to “Air Out” the area for at least ½ hour before commencing work in the area. The greenhouse or indoor area shall ideally be under 75F/22C. The mites are more active at this temperature and Doktor Doom Products are most effective at this temperature.
• Re-enter the area at least 2 hours after treatment - the longer the better

Directions For Use:

• It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.

General Use Instructions:

• For use in homeowner greenhouses and other indoor areas where plants are grown or produce is stored. Can be used on all ornamental and vegetable plants. Can also be used in storage areas where almonds, apples, beans, birdseed, blackberries, blueberries, boysenberries, cherries, corn (including popcorn), crabapples, currants, dewberries, figs, grapes, guavas, loganberries, mangoes, muskmelons, oranges, peaches, peanuts, pears, peas, pineapples, plums, potatoes, raspberries, sweet potatoes, tomatoes and walnuts are stored after harvest. One 5.5 ounce can treats up to 5,500 cubic feet of unobstructed area. To calculate cubic feet, multiply height x width x length.

How To Use:

Step 1 - Preparation

• Open cupboards, cabinets, trunks and doors to area to be treated. Close outside doors and windows and shut off fans, air conditioning and other ventilation equipment to maximize killing power of fog. Remove pets, birds and tightly cover or remove fish bowls and aquariums before spraying. Cover waxed furniture in the immediate area surrounding the fogger (newspaper may be used). DO NOT use more than one fogger per 5,500 cubic foot room. DO NOT use in small, enclosed spaces such as closets, cabinets or under counters or tables. Do not use in a room 5 ft. x 5 ft. or smaller, instead, allow fog to enter from other rooms. Turn off ALL ignition sources such as pilot lights (shut off gas valves), other open flames or running electrical appliances that cycle off and on (i.e. refrigerators, thermostats, etc). Call your gas utility or management company if you need assistance with your pilot lights.

Step 2 - Activation of Fogger

• Shake well just before using. Place a section of newspaper on floor in center of room to be treated. NOTE: Do not place fogger on waterstainable surface. Tilt can opening away from face and depress tab firmly with thumb until it clicks in locked position. Aiming spray away from face, set fogger on newspaper, leave room and close door. After activation, leave room at once. Keep area closed for 2 hours before airing out. Open all doors and windows and allow to air for 30 minutes before reentering. Repeat spraying in two weeks if insects return.

Storage and Disposal:

• Storage: Do not store near heat or open flame. Store in a cool dry area away from children. Disposal: Do Not Puncture or Incinerate! If empty: Place in trash or offer for recycling if available. If partly filled: Call your local solid waste agency for disposal instructions.
