A Disinfectant

OdoBan® Ready-To-Use is effective against animal and pet viruses such as Avian Influenza virus, Avian Infectious Bronchitis virus, Pseudorabies virus, Canine Distemper virus, Newcastle's Disease virus, Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis (FVR), Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV), Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP), Rabies, and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV).
Respiratory illnesses attributable to Pandemic 2009 H1N1 are caused by influenza A virus. OdoBan® Ready-To Use is a broad-spectrum hard surface disinfectant that has been shown to be effective against Influenza A/Hong Kong virus and is expected to inactivate all influenza A viruses including Pandemic 2009 H1N1 (formerly called swine flu).

Air Freshener:
Smoke • Cooking Odors
- Effectively neutralize damp, musty odors caused by mildew in storage areas, basements, closets, bathrooms and A/C filters. Effective on smoking and cooking odors (garlic, fish, onions, etc.).
Pet Odors:
Pet Bedding • Litter Boxes • Carpet & Upholstery
- For urine, feces and vomit on carpet and upholstery. Clean prior to application then spray onto affected areas. Test hidden areas for colorfastness. Allow 10 minutes contact time. Then blot with clean cloth. Allow to dry. Also effective on pet bedding and litter boxes.

OdoBan® Ready-To-Use is a Hospital Disinfectant for pre-cleaned surfaces, Bactericidal according to the AOAC Use Dilution Test Method and a Mildewstat according to the EPA Mildew-Fungistatic guidelines in 10 minutes, and Virucidal* according to the virucidal qualification in 60 seconds, against germs ‡such as:

Non-Acid Toilet Bowl Disinfectant Directions: Preclean toilet bowl prior to disinfection. Empty toilet bowl or urinal and apply to exposed surfaces including under the rim with a cloth, mop, sponge, or sprayer. Brush thoroughly over exposed surfaces including under the rim. Allow to stand for 10 minutes and flush.
Sanitizer Directions
OdoBan® Ready-To-Use is a sanitizer for pre-cleaned, hard, and non-porous non-food contact surfaces according to the method for Inanimate Non-Food Contact Surface Sanitizer in 60 seconds against germs †such as:
- Streptococcus pyogenes (Strep)
- Escherichia coli 0157:H7 (E. coli) (pathogenic strain)
- Listeria monocytogenes
- Staphylococcus aureus (Staph)
- Klebsiella pneumoniae
Apply OdoBan® Ready-To-Use to hard (inanimate), non-porous surfaces, thoroughly wetting surfaces as recommended and required.
Disinfection/Virucidal* Directions:
- Pre-clean prior to disinfection. Trigger spray 6-8 inches from hard nonporous surface. Rub (Clean) with brush, sponge, or cloth. Do not breathe spray. Treated surfaces must remain wet for 10 minutes (for disinfection against bacteria and fungi or 60 seconds for disinfection against viruses*). Wipe clean with a cloth or tissue.
Mold and Mildew Control:
- To control mold and mildew on hard, nonporous surfaces, wash visible soil from the surface. Then apply with mop, sponge, cloth or trigger spray so as to wet all surfaces thoroughly. Let air dry. Repeat application every 7 days to control reoccurrence of growth.
Fungicidal Disinfection:
- OdoBan® Ready-To-Use is an effective fungicide against Trichophyton mentagrophytes (Athletes Foot Fungus) when used on surfaces in areas such as locker rooms, dressing rooms, shower and bath areas and exercise facilities. Follow disinfection directions.
Sanitizer Directions:
- General Household / Kitchen / Bathroom / Floor Cleaning: Remove cooking ingredients and food from areas to be cleaned.
General Cleaning/Sanitizing:
- Remove gross filth or heavy soil, then thoroughly clean surfaces. To sanitize non-food contact surfaces apply solution, thoroughly wetting surfaces as recommended and required, with a cloth, sponge, or sprayer. Let stand 60 seconds then wipe.
Sanitizer directions:
- Pre-clean prior to sanitizing. Spray 6-8 inches from surface. Rub (clean) with brush, sponge, or cloth. Do not breathe spray. Treated surfaces must remain wet for 60 seconds. Wipe clean with a cloth or tissue.

KILLS HIV ON PRE-CLEANED ENVIRONMENTAL SURFACES/OBJECTS PREVIOUSLY SOILED WITH BLOOD/BODY FLUIDS, in health care settings or other settings in which there is an expected likelihood of soiling of inanimate surfaces/objects with blood or body fluids and in which the surfaces/objects likely to be soiled with blood or body fluids can be associated with the potential for transmission of human immunodeficiency virus Type 1 (HIV-1) (associated with AIDS). "SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR CLEANING AND DECONTAMINATION AGAINST HIV-1 ON SUR-FACES/OBJECTS SOILED WITH BLOOD/BODY FLUIDS" PERSONAL PROTECTION: Clean-up should always be done wearing protective latex gloves, gowns, masks and eye protection. CLEANING PROCEDURE: Blood and other body fluids containing HIV must be thoroughly cleaned from surfaces and objects before application of this product. CONTACT TIME: Leave surface wet for 60 seconds. Use a 10 minute contact time for disinfection against bacteria and fungi. DISPOSAL OF INFECTIOUS MATERIALS: Blood, body fluids, cleaning materials and clothing should be auto-claved and disposed of according to local regulations for infectious waste disposal.
This product is not to be used as a terminal sterilant/high level disinfectant on any surface or instrument that (1) is introduced directly into the human body, either into or in contact with the bloodstream or normally sterile areas of the body, or (2) contacts intact mucous membranes but which does not ordinarily penetrate the blood barrier or otherwise enter normally sterile areas of the body. This product may be used to pre-clean or decontaminate critical or semi-critical medical devices prior to sterilization or high-level disinfection.
Deodorizer Directions:
Air Freshener and Fabric Refresher:
- Apply a light spray into the air, or onto surfaces such as upholstery, drapes, bedding, carpet, A/C Filters, etc.
Pet Odors:
- For urine, feces, and vomit on carpet and upholstery, saturate pre-cleaned area with enough OdoBan® Ready-To-Use to remain damp for at least 10 minutes, then blot with a clean cloth. Repeat if necessary. Effective on bedding and litter boxes. Allow to dry. Test a hidden area for colorfastness.
Automobile/RV:
- Spray liberally onto seats, carpets, headliner and ashtray or into trunk and all vents to eliminate odors from tobacco, beverage spills, and musty carpet.
Hard Surfaces:
- Apply directly to odor source such as diaper or garbage pails, fishing gear, bed pans, hampers, toilets, shower curtains, fireplace, athletic or work shoes, etc. Use in sick rooms, closets, basements, or anywhere there are odors.
OdoBan® is effective at eliminating odors on porous surfaces such as upholstery, drapes, carpets, bedding, shower curtains, and mattresses as well as non-porous surfaces such as walls and floors. Affected areas should be saturated with enough OdoBan® to remain damp for at least ten minutes. Then blot with a clean cloth and allow to dry.
Storage and Disposal:
- Store in areas inaccessible to small children. Do not reuse or refill this container. Offer for recycling, if available.
Precautionary Statements
Hazards to Humans and Domestic Animals
- CAUTION: Causes moderate eye irritation. Avoid contact with eyes or clothing. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling.
- First Aid: If in eyes: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye.
- If on skin or clothing: Take off contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes.
